Homemade or not, this cocktail is the true essence of your Leo spirit; classy and elegant with an undeniable edge. Perky AND groovy, that’s you baby!
Our favorite recipe comes from Ariene Resnick of Simply Recipes
(Don’t be afraid to add a little creamer into it! But you’re a Leo, you’re going to do what you want anyway…)
This recipe calls for:
1 1/2 ounces vodka
3/4 ounce coffee liqueur
1/2 ounce crème de cacao
1 ounce espresso, chilled
3 coffee beans, for garnish
If you’re making this without alcohol, try a little bit of chocolate syrup instead of crème de cacao, and (obviously) skip that vodka!
…But you’re not stopping there. Our favorite way to unwind after a long work week is by finding a local band or DJ and dancing the night away. While sometimes it can be hard to find the underground spots that the locals keep under-wraps, thankfully we live in 2022 where anything and everything you need is just an app-download away.
